Brandon Webb(11-6)with the help of the bullpen handcuffed the London Hawk
Lords batters at the ballpark in a day game. The Jefferson Park Penguins
scored 5 runs for the win.
Jefferson Park started with a bang, jumping out to an early lead in their half
of the first scoring one runner. After an out was recorded, Lance Berkman
lofted a solo-blast 'downtown' (his 24th of the season). That early scoring
held up. Jefferson Park had 7 hits for the afternoon.
The loss was charged to Jeff Weaver(8-18). He gave up 7 hits and 4 walks in 8
innings.
